Help Support this Family in Need

I am fundraising to help my friend Cerise and her two loving and energetic boys. She is fighting for her life and her boys in a high conflict legal battle for child and spousal support. After learning about this horrible situation, I could not help but think of the words of this Scripture in 1 Timothy 5:8: "But if anyone does not provide for his own family, especially for his own household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever" (Christian Standard Bible).

From what I understand, she has a good lawyer, and he has been helping her so far, even to the point where she now owes about $32,000 in legal fees alone. But even this lawyer cannot continue without additional funds to help her eventually win her case and legally obtain the financial support this family needs.

Cerise is doing all she can to raise these boys to be loving, caring, and productive young men. She not only has her boys involved in sports activities in school, but she also teaches them to be caring and compassionate by bringing them with her to help others who are struggling and in need.

But being a single parent fighting in a high conflict legal battle is extremely difficult and drains both the spirit and the finances. She needs our help to fight "the good fight" for herself and her children, until she can get back on her feet.

Please consider doing the best you can to help. We know that many people are struggling in the aftermath of the covid-19 pandemic, but if enough people give just a little, it could mean alot for this struggling family.
