Aid Amanda in Restoring Her Life Post-Storm

My name is Jake Springfield and I am part the hospitality industry in Asheville, NC. Our work team is looking to raise funds for our friend and co-worker, Amanda Miller, in the wake of Hurricane Helene.
Like so many across our WNC Community, Amanda has been severely impacted by this unprecedented storm. In the middle of the night, a large tree fell directly through Amanda's tiny home in West Asheville - missing her in her bed by mere feet - while simultaneously totaling her vehicle. With help of a neighbor she was able to escape the house with her dog in the midst of hurricane-force winds. She has lost her home, her car, and is currently unable to return to work as she looks to rebuild her life and return to some sense of normalcy.
Amanda is deeply rooted in the Asheville community - an avid volleyball player, fisherman, and a wonderful friend. She is dedicating her time as she waits to return by putting her outdoor skills to use - hiking in supplies to areas that are currently inaccessible. Even in the midst of deep personal upheaval, she is throwing herself into the service of the community and people she cares about so deeply.
Funds raised on this account will go directly to Amanda to help cover the costs associate with finding new lodging and procuring a new vehicle. They will also help to cover necessary resources (food, bills, etc.) as she waits to return to work.
For those who are able, please consider contributing as we work to help our friend in these uncertain times. We appreciate you more than we can say.
