Aid and Medical expenses for Jillian Estell

Donation protected
After vomiting for a week and unable to keep anything down, Jillian Estell  was admitted to UCLA  Hospital on October 4, 2020. After undergoing extensive tests the doctors diagnosed Jillian with  H. Pylori, however treatment proved to be unsuccessful  and she has been in and out of the hospital ever since and  being fed through an  NJ  tube has become Jillian's normal.

On March 12th, Jillian  woke up with no feelings in her legs and feet and violently throwing up. She was admitted to Childrens Hospital where she stayed until the 27th of March, for the doctors said they were no longer able to treat her for the test showed no medical reasons for her symptoms.

On April 1st, Jillian woke up early in the morning vomiting so violently it removed her feeding tube. Since neither Children Hospital nor UCLA were able to find the cause of Jillian's illness, her mother Kristen decided to take the 27 hour drive  to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Mn, for her discussions with  the medical staff was promising. Unfortunately, the drive was in vein, for the one thing the staff forgot to mention to Kristen was their inability to accept her medical insurance , which means they could not see Jillian without full payment for all appointments and procedures upfront.

As of today, Jillian has regained her ability to walk, however, she is still unable to keep any liquids or food down. She no  longer has the feeding tube because the cost to replace it is $15,000, so her daily diet consists of eating and vomiting  up everything she takes in.

Kristen has been in touch with a specialists in Dallas, Texas who she believes can help Jillian and although she also does not take Jillian's insurance, unlike Mayo, she will treat without  full payment upfront.

Today, Kristen takes Jillian to IV bars in order to maintain her fluids and vitamins, however, due to costs, they are unable to go as often as needed, for Kristen is unemployed and the medical treatments have swallowed up their entire savings. They are staying with family and friends and fear the longer they wait for treatment the worse Jillian will become.

Before the most recent episode of illness, Jillian was diagnosed with Celiac disease and has experienced other medical issues that no one can explain, including Jillian loosing all  of her hair.

Jillian is a 16 year-old vibrant young lady who was on the road to complete high school and continue her journey as an actress. Kristen continues to instill hope in Jillian through prayer but often finds herself feeling hopeless. If you could donate any amount to help Jillian and her mom on their road to recovery we would be most grateful. For we believe a village will not only heal her physically but restore hope.

Thank you for caring,
