Help for Aiken and his family

Donation protected
Dear Friends,

On May 20th just before 9 pm our brother, Aiken Peterson, was ejected from his motorcycle in Cashmere after colliding with a car that was passing him on Highway 2 . He was found unconscious and quickly moved to safety on the side of the road before being taken by ambulance to Central WA Hospital ER for further evaluation. He was flown to Harborview a few hours later because of a brain bleed. Other injuries included a broken neck, broken collar bone, broken ribs, and significant road rash on his left arm and knee. He is currently stable and has faired well through several surgeries and procedures. He is starting to show some increased alertness and responsiveness in the past week and his body is healing.

At this point, we are confident he will wake up but we don't know when and the impact of the brain trauma is still unknown. The reality is, he is hurt really bad.

Aiken is the sole proprietor of AP Construction and is financially responsible for his wife Amber, teenage daughter Emma, and his crew. The mounting medical bills, and the fact that Aiken will not be working for quite some time, is creating a significant financial burden for his family.

Many of you have asked how you can help.
Contributing here is one real way that you can.

Aiken is a devoted husband, loving father and uncle, and incredible craftsman. He is a good friend and a good neighbor. He is one of the most generous people we've ever known - with his time, his wisdom, his resources, and his smiles. He never held back and he still isn't.

Wouldn't it be so awesome for him to wake up to find out his friends and the community he lives in really had his back - rallied together to take care of him in any way they could!

On behalf of our family, we THANK YOU for all your concern, your prayers, your offers of help, and your encouragement during this time. We cannot say thank you enough. We will do our best to provide updates along the way or you can get current info by following @__amber__ever__after______ on Instagram.

With much gratitude,
