Justice for Naomi Gonzalez

On August 26th, my niece Naomi was maliciously & intentionally hit and ran over by Sonia Velasquez-Anicua. Her childhood bully was a passenger in the vehicle.After being hit the teen driver drug her body for about a block and a half. She was not expected to survive. She was placed in ICU on life support. She suffers a traumatic brain injury amongst many other injuries including: fracture to her skull, her ear displaced, facial trauma, large hole in her shoulder, left face wound leaving skin, fat, and muscle missing exposing part of her eyeball, fractures to the ribs and many more.

As you can imagine, this has left our family in absolute overwhelming grief. We are angry and so heartbroken. My niece is a single-mother of a 4yr. old daughter, who faces a long road to recovery. For all who know my niece, you know how kind, fun-loving and gentle she is. She doesn’t deserve any of this. This has put our family in an extreme burden. Not only do we have to worry about the fight for Naomi’s life, but we have to endure the fight for justice to make sure all responsible are held accountable, while giving the love and support to Naomi’s young daughter that she will be missing from her mother whom she absolutely adores.

We so kindly ask for your prayers, love, and support. We believe if we all come together we can get through this unbearable time.
