Alien Runner Film Production

Hello Friends!!
We’re multicultural. We’re no bull. We work 24/7. Yes, even on the weekends. We are ABSTRACT.
Check us out: http://abstractdigitalcinema.com/
Abstract Digital Cinema (ADC) is comprised of students from all parts of the world. Our goal is to seal the gap between art and technology. We do what we do because of you folks out there. It’s you guys that keep us chugging along every day.
Our global audience is incredibly important to us and we strive to represent those communities fairly. ADC treats every project as an extension of who we are as human beings because we genuinely love what we do.
Film isn’t a hobby, it’s life for members at ADC. We don’t party. We don’t shop. We sacrifice the joys of being young for our artistic medium. Our work weeks involve working our 9-5’s just to fund our productions. To date, we own the following (just to name a few):
- RED Epic-W 8K camera
- Canon 5D, 7D
- ZOOM H4n Digital Audio Recorder
- DJI Follow Focus
- ProAm 20’ Jib
- Dolly Track
- Stedicam
As you can imagine, these weren’t cheap investments; this is how serious we are to elevate our productions. We may not have the newest Nikes in town, but we sure do have some pretty visuals that represent a global community. This is more important to us than anything.
So why are we here? We need YOUR help.
We’re prepping for our next project, “Alien Runner.” This will be a pilot and we intend on extending it to a feature. Here’s a brief breakdown of the project.
Logline:
"An evil alien coalition disables people from using certain limbs as they struggle through a challenging obstacle course in hopes of preserving the human race."
After budgeting our personal funds into the mix, we still come up short. Making a movie is crazy expensive when you don’t have a huge studio behind you. Your donations will go toward a percentage of the film permits, location bookings, equipment rentals necessary for each day of shooting. None of your donations will go toward the purchase of any new equipment. All donations will go toward solely making this movie.
We’d like to start production by November 2017, which means a lot needs to be done before that (i.e. casting, set construction, locations security). Our goal is meet our $100,000 goal by October 2017!
Our supporters are incredibly important to us. Without our audience, we have virtually no incentive to do what we do. Whether you’re watching our films, attending screenings, or even telling a friend about us, we value your part in this journey.
Thank you for providing us with the opportunity to share our creative goal.
