Amazing Wife & Mother lost to COVID

This fundraiser is for the family and expenses left behind by the death of Amanda Vicknair of Monroe, Louisiana.

Amanda was a dedicated wife and mother and passed away September 10, 2021, after enduring a five week long battle with COVID and complications from it. She was surrounded by her husband and loved ones, who will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest.

Amanda loved to spend time with her husband and sons, cook and travel. An amazing mother to her boys, she was extremely giving and very active in their schools and activities. Amanda always went above and beyond for her children and her love for them was immense. Family was everything to her. She was a beautiful singer and shared her love for music with others as a music minister. Amanda was always smiling, had a joyous laugh, and was a constant light in the lives she touched. She was steadfast in her devotion to the Lord and undoubtedly her soul is resting with Jesus in Heaven.

After her passing, her husband and two boys are trying to sort through the enormous medical expenses she incurred and losing her income. Her husband is trying is hardest to keep their boys in their new routines, and in their home that they love while attending the public schools they know and who care for them. These two boys, Austin (12) and Reed (7) are amazing and talented boys. Both gifted and honor students, both accomplished martial artists and athletes. Losing their momma is so hard on them. We are raising funds help their dad give them what their mother can no longer give, and a chance to recover as best they can.
