"Amber, a young woman grieving the loss of her boyfriend in a fatal car accident the year before, reluctantly agrees to a camping trip with her best friends. However, after a fall down a deep ravine, she finds herself lost and in alone in the unforgiving wilderness. She soon discovers, though, that she may not be alone..."
"Amber" is a psychological thriller written by Alexander McDannell and Marissa Sabatucci. We both found ourselves equally unsatisfied with opportunities in our own professional/educational lives and decided to create this story to make our own opportunity. We've enlisted the help of very many talented actors/crew members from Point Park University, our school, and others in the Pittsburgh area. However, both being college students with bills to pay and classes to attend, and given the expensive nature of film production (equipment, props, feeding cast/crew, hiring composers, artists, etc), we cannot raise the money on our own. We would love to reach out to our community and ask for help to bring our vision to life. We are both deeply passionate about this project and the idea of making our own art when life does not give us the chances we are looking for--this is the beauty of our chosen professions. We are going to shoot end of April/ beginning of May, giving us about 3 months to reach our goal. Any little bit helps and even just a "share" will go a long way! We are eternally grateful to all who support us in any way possible!
Help us make Amber come to life!
