Ask & you shall receive; knock, for door to open

Hello everyone,

My name is Amanda, and I'm a suddenly single mother, not by my choice per my Faith, trying to do my best to provide for my two amazing kids, Bella and Myles. I'm reaching out to our community & friends for support during a challenging time in my family's life.

Life has thrown us a many curveballs, one thing after another for 2023, now including a very close family member has been diagnosed with a severe type of cancer, whom is a major part in my son’s life. I find myself in a position where my monthly full time income at Riverside, plus any side work when is available, is never enough to cover our basic expenses.

I have been trying so hard to make ends meet, feeling defeated at times, circumstances has made it increasingly difficult, but our church family’s love is our strength. My kids are my world, the smile on my face. I want nothing more than to give them a secure home. It's very hard for me to admit that I need help, but I am unsure where else to turn or what to do at this time. This year has been very difficult for me financially and is adding stress on my physical health that I was already in treatment for and still am.

All donations we are blessed with will go directly towards covering our immediate monthly bills including rent ($1,395) we had to move before having time to save up or had time to find affordable housing, utilities ($300+ depending on season), food ($300), gas ($150) to get to work, church and doctor’s appts. ($250), internet and phone ($275). Also have car payments ($250) and auto insurance too. Anything extra raised will go toward any other bills that may come up during the next couple months.
