Assist a Student Photojournalist

My name is Sharon Chischilly and I am a student at the University of New Mexico. I am a photojournalist at the student newspaper Daily Lobo. I recently received the 2020 Mark Holm Photographer of the Year Award. I have also done assignments for the Washington Post, Getty Images, and more. My photographs have been featured in The New York Times, CNN, BBC, and more. I am currently a photographer Intern at the Navajo Times newspaper. As an independent student, I am in need of assistance with obtaining crucial equipment needed to continue my work. The equipment that would help me greatly, is a Canon 24-70mm lens. This lens would help me continue documenting the pandemic on the Navajo Nation, as well as assist my future work. I would be grateful for any type of support from the community.
