Assist in Funding Carl Lee Echols' Farewell

Hi, I am donating to Carl Lee Echols, a significant person in my life. I was with him for 11 years. I met him on April 6th, 2012, and he was the love of my life. I fell in love with him, and he was a very special person in my heart, even though what he took me through. This man was very special to me. I tried to get him to go into treatment, and he went in on June 10th but had to go get that one more signed itself in on June 18, 2024, and he couldn't breathe. They took him to the hospital, and he was gasping for air. He had a heart attack. He was 67 years old, born on December 31, 1965. He was a bus driver, hardworking, and didn't deserve to die. He was trying to get himself clean. He was a heroin addict.

Right now, I am two years clean and sober, and I was trying to get him the same way. He agreed, and I said, 'Red, I cannot come back to you this way.' He had been introduced to heroin by a brother, which is not his biological brother, but at the same time, this man was a good man. I don't know, but I am emotional and broken. I've been with him for 11 years, and all the trials and tribulations that he put me through, he beat me so bad, but I still love this man to this day, even though my heart is still with him. I love him so much. He has five kids, four girls, one son. You have Carla, Candice, Alicia, Camille, and Deonte. I have no idea what's going on, but his sister, Jennifer Echols Dunn, doesn't have any idea how we are going to bury him. He's still at the examiner's office. He had 100% of fentanyl in his system, and I had told him to go get himself clean, but he did not want to believe me that fentanyl goes on everything: crack, pills, weed, heroin. But he kept doing it, even though my chemical substance was crack and weed, and I was also a drinker. But at the same time, it took me 31 years to get it right, and I say this much, I'm never going back. But I never thought he would leave me because this man was very special to me, even though he beat me, slapped me. I was another anime Bullock Tina Turner, but guess what, I didn't leave. I stuck and stayed with him, regardless of what the circumstance would be. He put me out, he made me homeless, and he told me, 'Where can I drop you?' I am in Chicago, and he put me out on Homer and West end. I stayed with a friend for about 3 months, and at the same time, I promised myself I will never be broke again and never feed the drug dealers ever again. God knows I went to Haymarket treatment center. I love myself today. I have the integrity, the willingness, grace, and mercy. I wanted him to be like me, clean, sober, but it was too late for him. Curly Apples was a man I fell in love with, and can't nobody else take that from me because he's special to me.

And so, this is why I'm truly asking if somebody can donate to his funeral. He died on June 19th at 8:00 a.m. He made an effort to go, but it was just too late. He was 67 years old, but I say this, if anyone has a heart, please donate because I need $6100 to bury him. If anybody ever hurt, please take the time out. I don't care what it is, I need help because his kids are grieving right now, and I love you. I appreciate you with mercy and Grace to help me and Jennifer to bury him. All I want to do is cremate him and have a little viewing of his body. If you do this for me, I will really appreciate this. I loved him very well. Thank you.
