Assist Nestor Riveras Family in Their Time of Need

Greetings, loved ones, family, and friends! I am Nestor Rivera's daughter, Lynnette. I am reeling and heartbroken as I come to this platform in pieces. My father was a man who battled mental health issues. My father had manic-bipolar disorder, depression, and schizophrenia. In spite of all of this, my father was a bright, courageous, strong, persistent, and driven man. He had overcome homelessness and alcoholism .  

Today, 6/25/24, my father passed away following what appears to have been a huge heart attack. My brother discovered him alone in his apartment. My father did not own life insurance. Please aid our family with the costs of the funeral, that is all. Anything is beneficial. Please just share this if you can't give.

Nestor would go for daily walks through Darien, his favorite town of all. Dad was a lovely and joyful person who genuinely loved people. He cherished St. Patrick's Day and hockey. He adored and cherished his children: Nestor Jr., Luis Anthony, Nestali, Marlene, and myself. He looked forward to little moments with his grandchildren: Vianca, Joanni, Natasha, Nathaniel, Samuel, Julian, Tristian, Jonathan, Haley, David, Jeremiah, Isaiah, Daniella, Gabriella, and his great-grand's Enzo, Omar and  Juliette. His grandchildren filled him with immense pride. My father was a man full of aspirations and objectives.

I appreciate your love and support in advance. This song, which my dad would constantly sing, has given me so much strength at the most trying periods in my life, including right now. “When I wake up my beautiful eyes don't stop staring at you, I hold you in my arms every moment of my life... time after time." Love you forever & always Dad! You were Braver than you know! We miss you already.
