Assist with Evelynn Smith's Final Farewell

Hi! First, let me say, thank you for your care and support. We are raising funds for our precious Sis. Evelynn Smith’s funeral costs.

Let me tell you a little about Evelynn: to know her was to love her. She had a love for Jesus so strong that even when her memory was fading, her faith in Him stayed strong. She loved to sing. There wasn’t a day that went by where she wasn’t singing about God. Pray, man oh man, she could pray. Evelynn was well known for her affinity to candy. Butterscotch, peanut butter, and coffee candy were her constant companions, and she loved to share. Personally, my life was made better by the privilege of knowing her.

Evelynn suffered a heart attack that sent her to the hospital Saturday, Oct. 26th, and left her beloved family to go on to her reward on Sunday, Oct. 27th. She fought the good fight, finished her course, and we are thankful that she is at rest. That being said, no one was prepared for this heartbreak. The family needs help. My help, your help, our community of friends… all help is appreciated as there are limited funds. We are having to find and purchase a burial plot, pay the funeral expenses, and as we have found out, none of it is cheap.
