Austin "Zefdaddy" Zimmerman Memorial

My dearest friends, Austin passed very suddenly a few weeks ago due to coronary artery disease. Austin and I were married for 13 years before separating nearly 7 years ago and have a long history together living in London, touring with Vintage Trouble and moving to California. We were always great friends and were sharing art and music just days before his passing.

Austin's long-term girlfriend of over 4 years, who he was living with, Shannon, tried revive him using CPR on the morning of his 41st birthday. I cannot even imagine what pain she is experiencing through this.

As this was so unexpected, we are raising money to help cover the costs of the cremation, memorial services, and any bills that may still be unpaid in his name. Although Austin's mother had a trust containing his childhood home and other finances, this was all left to friends of the family in the case of Austin's death (if he had no children). This means that there is nothing from his inheritance set aside for his arrangements.

We will be holding a family-friendly memorial followed by a more informal celebration and drinks on Sunday June 30th, 2024. If you are able to join us please see details of locations and times below:

You are welcome to attend either or both gatherings to honor and remember Austin in a way that reflects his vibrant spirit and love for art. We look forward to sharing stories and memories of Austin with friends and family.
