<div>Imagine deciding to pay your grandmother a visit two days before Mother’s Day, only to leave shortly after midnight and never be seen alive again. My aunt, Brenda Lacombe, however, and the people that held her closest to their hearts were faced with this very nightmare. Brenda, who was a mere 19 years old at the time of her death, left her grandmother’s home in Lowell, MA around 12:45am on May 16, 1982. A few weeks later on June 4th, her half naked and beaten body was discovered in a wooded area about a mile off of interstate 495.<img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/65750681_1655730141144406_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" alt="65750681_1655730141144406_r.jpeg" />Brenda body was dumped behind a stone wall on a rural country road located off route 111 in Harvard, MA. After all these years Brenda’s case remains unsolved. We know in order to achieve Justice for Brenda we need to look at all of the information and its totality. We feel that having a new autopsy will bring forward new evidence in her case. I am raising funds for an exhumation of Brenda’s remains, as I believe she holds the key to solving her own murder.  Taking inspiration from my family’s years-long search for answers, I began threading together the pieces of Brenda’s case, continuing to search for the answers that I believe are so long overdue and deserved.
