Axe’s Utah hockey journey to the Brick Invitational!

If you have the pleasure of knowing Axe you’ll know he’s soft hearted and kind and loves to be a jokester but most of all he loves the game of Hockey.

Axe had the honor of trying out for the Western Selects Brick Team for 2014 birth years and was selected as 1 of 15 players and 2 goalies. Axe will be heading to the prestigious Brick tournament for 10 year olds that has had over 325 players go on to play in the NHL. The Western Selects team is a unique team because they are made between the 12 western states. We have kids this year from Alaska, Colorado, California, Nevada, Arizona, Texas, Oklahoma, and of course Utah.

Axe along with his teammate are the 1st ever UTAH players to be selected for the team in the 34 years of the Western Selects Program! It’s a historical year for Hockey in Utah! ❤️

Axe as you know comes from a medium sized Utah family of 6 with 3 siblings and a mom and dad who support his dreams. The Cost of this once in a lifetime opportunity is quite substantial and we know we couldn’t do it without support.

All funds will go towards Axe’s fees, hotels, flights, etc as he heads off with his team to compete in Pittsburgh, Chicago, Vancouver, BC, and lastly to Edmonton, AB for the week long tournament at the West Edmonton Mall!
