I have come out late in life after trying really hard and being unable to be a woman. I knew from a very very young age that I wasn't and coming out has been the best thing that ever happened to me. The unfortunate part is just that years of Conservative government have led to trans healthcare in and rights in the UK being the worst in Western Europe. It now takes years just to get a referral to a clinic. I know people who have been waiting two years just to get on the waiting list which is as much as 10 years long in parts of the country. That is torturous. Your help and support will allow me to seek care privately so that I can go back to my favourite place on earth, the ocean! Just generally so I can live normally again.
