Back on Track Mentor Programme

Your LiveWire in Warrington has launched a mentor programme - Back on Track to help young people aged 11-17 to engage in sporting activities for free, in order to get back on track. Individuals are referred to LiveWire who are having issues in school, or are perhaps excluded, or have mental health issues.

Since its inception LiveWire and its partnering coordinators have seen dozens of individuals take part and make positive changes in their lives. To ensure the continuation of this project, LiveWire needs additional financial support to carry on this great work for young people in the Warrington area.

We are looking to provide 100 spaces for young people aged 11-17. This project can really transform lives! Each 8 week course costs £300 per person, therefore we are looking to rais £30,000.

LiveWire's Back on Track mentor programme allows young people between the age of 11-17 in Warrington to recalibrate and get 'back on track' through positive sporting activities. Free, one hour weekly sessions over an 8 week period take place at Orford Jubilee, Warrington. Each young person is assigned a mentor who is committed to delivering the sessions while getting to know the individual. Once the eight weeks are over, we intend to continue with support and encourage the person to take part in the numerous classes and sessions available at The Orford Jubilee Hub.
