Bañuelos Family Hurricane Relief
Donation protected
After the reservoir dams released water into Houston, our family members - Rosie and Roger Banuelos, their two daughters, and baby grandson - evacuated their home on Monday (August 28th) to ensure the safety of their family including a 1 year old infant and dog. They have since learned that their home and two vehicles are completely flooded. They have not been able to return home due to high waters and other dangers, but have received photos and videos of the devastion of their neighborhood. It will be weeks until they can return to begin the recovery process.
Although the things they lost are just "things", everything they own they worked a lifetime to have was destroyed in an instant. They do not have flood insurance, and are doing their best to start over and rebuild what they lost. They are grateful and humbled by any help and support, and have the upmost gratitude.
Thank you from Rosie Bañuelos, Roger Bañuelos, Danielle Bañuelos, Alexis Bañuelos and baby Armando Bañuelos.
The family's neighborhood, Bear Creek Village.
