Benjamin Petras Funeral Fund

Benjamin was a beloved part of Sunshine Bagels for over 25 years. He always greeted everyone with a smile, and was helpful, patient, and very hardworking. When Benjamin took your order, you knew it would be quick and correct. He was a very special part of Sunshine Bagels, truly bringing sunshine to everyone who came in. 

He leaves an only son, JB, who is devastated and has special needs. JB is unable to care for himself. This is a tragic situation. Please help. Any amount donated will make a HUGE difference and help with paying for funeral expenses for Benjamin Petras. Please help someone who always gladly helped everyone else. 

All donations will be paid directly to the funeral home by the organizer of this fundraiser in form of check payment for Benjamin Petras.

We would like to thank you all for your kind expression of sympathy. Benjie was so blessed and continues to be blessed to be part of such a wonderful and caring community. To witness everyone come together in our time of need has been a source of comfort for JB and the rest of the family. The love and care you all have shown has been overwhelming. Your kindness is deeply appreciated and will forever be remembered by our family.

June 28, Friday 10am-1030am followed by the burial at Mount Hope in Hastings on Hudson.
