Ben's 200KM December running challange
In December, I've challenged myself to run 200km to raise money for cancer research. I will be running every day in the wind, rain and freezing conditions to rack up the km's and raise as much money as I can!
Why now and why cancer research, I hear you ask... Recently we found out Enya has skin cancer and is awaiting surgery to have it removed. Whilst this has been a shock and emotionally overwhelming, we are soo thankful it is treatable.
If you are unsure about anything, seek the advice of a medical professional and don't drop it until it is resolved! What started as a small burn on her cheek from hair straighteners years ago developed into the unexpected. If Enya hadn't continuously pushed, this might not have been picked up because of her age.
We all know someone who has been affected by Cancer in some way. This experience, being so close to home, has reiterated the importance of spreading awareness and raising money to win the war against cancer.
I know times are hard for us all at the moment, but any donations would be massively appreciated. I would love for as many of you to get involved and join me on a run in December.
Thank you in advance.
