<div>Mexx ist heute leider verstorben. Er hat es leider nicht geschafft wieder gesund zu werden! Sein Körper war schon zu schwach, um sich zu rehabilitieren! Leider war alles Hoffen und Bangen vergebens!

<div>UPDATE 03.08.2023: 
</div>
<div>Mexx wird soeben ein 3. Mal operiert. Sein momentaner Zustand ermöglicht es, dass diese erneute Op kein erhöhtes Risiko darstellt. Wäre  länger gezögert worden, hätte es das Risiko erhöht.
</div>
<div>In seinem Bauchraum sind Flüssigkeitsansammlungen, die aufgrund der Drainagen eigentlich nicht da sein sollten. 
</div>
<div>Es sind 3 offene Stellen im Bauchraum, der Bauchraum ist stark entzunden und der Darm ist komplett angegriffen. Es wird noch ein Stück Darm entfernt, der Bauchraum gespült und alles genacht was noch möglich ist. 
</div>
<div>Jetzt können wir nur noch hoffen, daß sich sein Zustand doch noch bessert! ☘️

<div>Hallo, ich bin Andrea und bei meiner Kollegin und Freundin Betty ist seit letzter Woche nichts mehr wie es war.

<div>Auf dem Foto seht ihr Mexx! Er hatte einen Darmverschluss und wurde sofort zum Tierarzt gebracht! Mexx wurde gleich operiert. Die Hoffnung, dass Mexx zu seiner Familie nach Hause darf, hat sich leider nicht bewahrheitet und es kam zu Komplikationen. Die Naht im Bauch ist aufgegegangen und dadurch kam Darminhalt in die Wunde und somit auch Bakterien. Die Chirurgin entschied erneut zu operieren um den Bauchraum zu säubern und die Naht zu verschließen. Es waren wieder bange Stunden des Wartens, ob alles gut geht, ob Mexx wieder aufwacht usw! Dann kam der Anruf der Chirurgin, dass vorerst alles gut verlaufen ist. Mexx wurden ca. 10cm Darm rausgeschnitten, er hat ein Sonde bekommen zum Essen, damit nicht irgendetwas aufreißt, Drainagen damit alles gut ablaufen kann und jetzt heißt es wieder warten ob alles gut läuft.

<div>Neben dem Hoffen und Bangen ob Mexx bald wieder gesund ist und alles gut ausgeht, hat Betty natürlich auch noch die Sorge, wie diese ganzen Tierarztrechnungen beglichen werden können. Man ist immer darauf eingestellt, dass mit seinem Liebling etwas sein könnte und man weiß der Tierarztbesuch ist nicht billig, aber bei Mexx sind die Tierarztkosten inzwischen leider in einem Rahmen, den man nicht mehr einfach so in der "Notfallkassa" hat. Klar fragt man alle Familienmitglieder nach Geld und borgt sich überall soviel Geld wie möglich aus, aber auch dieses Geld muss wieder retour bezahlt werden!

<div>Es wäre mir wirklich eine Herzensangelegenheit wenn Ihr Betty und dem süßem Mexx bisschen unter die Arme greifen könntet und Ihnen helft!

<div>Unfortunately Mexx passed away today. Unfortunately he didn't manage to recover! His body was already too weak to rehabilitate! Unfortunately, all hope and fear was in vain!

<div>Mexx is currently undergoing a 3rd surgery. His current condition allows for this additional operation without increased risk. If it had been delayed longer, the risk would have been higher.

<div>There are fluid accumulations in his abdomen, which shouldn't be there due to the drains. There are 3 open wounds in the abdomen, severe inflammation, and extensive damage to the intestines. Another portion of the intestine will be removed, the abdomen will be flushed, and everything possible will be done.

<div>Now, all we can do is hope that his condition improves! ☘️

<div>In the photo you can see Mexx! He had an intestinal obstruction and was immediately taken to the vet! Mexx was operated on immediately. Unfortunately, the hope that Mexx would be allowed to go home to his family did not come true and complications arose. The suture in the abdomen has opened and as a result, intestinal contents came into the wound and thus also bacteria. The surgeon decided to operate again to clean the abdomen and close the suture. Again, anxious hours of waiting, whether everything goes well, whether Mexx wakes up again, etc! Then came the call from the surgeon that everything had gone well for the time being. Mexx was cut out about 10cm of intestines, he got a tube to eat, so that nothing tears open, drains so that everything can run well and now it's time to wait again if everything goes well.

<div>In addition to hoping and worrying whether Mexx will soon be healthy again and everything will turn out well, Betty is of course also worried about how all these vet bills can be settled. You are always prepared for the fact that something could happen with your darling and you know that a visit to the veterinarian is not cheap, but at Mexx the veterinary costs are now unfortunately within a range that you no longer have in the "emergency fund". Of course, you ask all family members for money and borrow as much money as possible everywhere, but this money also has to be paid back!
