During Hurricane Irma, Brigitte suffered another stroke. Unfortunately, her cognitive functioning has been severely compromised, and she is not expected to regain independent living. She remains in the hospital as of 10/5/17.
The Nobles family, who has been close to the Bradshaw girls for a long time, has taken in Ashlyn and has assumed all care for her. She is doing well - adjusting to a new school, playing the flute, and participating in volleyball. Her 13th birthday is right around the corner.
While the trauma and sadness surrounding this situation is currently at the forefront, there are financial repercussions as well. The expenses surrounding raising a teen mount quickly. If we could all pitch in a bit to help the Nobles family with Ashlyn’s care, that would be of tremendous help to them - and it would be greatly appreciated by Brigitte.
