Support for Brett Duncan and family.

Hi everyone,
I thought this would be a good time to post an update. This week Brett went HOME! As exciting as that may sound, he and his family still have a long road of recovery ahead of them. Before being released, Brett was in a rehab facility but his insurance only approved a short amount of time for him to be there. Now that Brett is home and his mother Kim has returned to work, she will have to pay someone out of her pocket to care for him while she is working. Brett still has wounds that need round the clock care and dressing changes. His prescriptions as well as the supplies to take care of his wounds will all come out of Kim’s pocket. His skin graphs and other surgical wounds are still in the process of healing and are at risk for infection. In order for him to receive the physical therapy that he needs to and for it be covered by insurance, this is the only option they had. Brett has very little function in his right arm due to not getting blood flow from his sub clavicle artery, doctors are unsure how much function his arm will have. Among other things, they will also need to make their home wheelchair accessible. Brett will have his 13th surgery next week on his arm.
This Go Fund Me account has helped so much with their bills and expenses but there are still so many more to come. Thank you all for your continued support & prayers. Please continue to share this account on social media and donate if you are able to. ❤️
