May 9th, the world lost a young man who was one of the most independent, funny, sarcastic and kind-hearted kids.
The Verrado baseball team and those who know him and his family are devastated. We know is that he is loved and will be missed by so many.
The Verrado community and baseball community from all over have been incredible in sending notes of love and encouragement to those affected by the death of a 17-year-old. Nobody should ever have to deal with that. But, together, we will.
BMac (some call him Bryan) was an incredibly loyal friend to those he loved. He was a fierce competitor, but never really said it or acted like it. His actions just showed it...every time he competed.
The Verrado boys voted to continue their playoff run and decided to play today at 4:00, as scheduled. I know they are playing with heavy hearts, but are doing this for their friend and his family. It is truly what he would want then to do.
Rest easy, buddy. You made an impact that will live on.
