BSA Troop 1597 Trailer replacement

Donation protected
The trailer belonging to Troop 1597(Hoschton, GA) was stolen from Hamilton Mill Presbyterian Church’s parking lot some time between October 10 and October 15, 2021. The trailer was new and fully outfitted, filled with custom built storage, 2 stocked custom built wooden patrol boxes, various camping equipment, dutch ovens, etc. Troop 1597 is brother Troop to female Scouts BSA Troop 5508, and shared this trailer regularly for their adventures, and now both Troops are horribly impacted.

We are an active troop chartered by Hamilton Mill Presbyterian Church and serve youth in Northeast GA. Our troop's purpose is to build character and moral strength, to foster citizenship and to develop physical, mental, and emotional fitness. We use the patrol method to teach and promote team work, leadership, and a sense of identity.

These scouts have worked tirelessly over the last several years to purchase this trailer and all of its equipment on their own through various fund raising efforts. Would you please consider donating to our troop to replace the trailer and our stolen equipment?
