Get Avery Gault to grad school in Barcelona!

As I prepare to embark on the next chapter of my education through the pursuit of my master's degree in Political Science at the Autonomous University of Barcelona in September, I’d like to reach out to you all and invite you to join me on this journey and, if you’re able to, support me first in getting there and then helping with the expenses that come with living and studying abroad! In return, I promise to provide you all with interesting and valuable memorabilia that will hopefully make you feel like a part of this adventure. I’d like to thank you all in advance for your participation, contribution, and interest!
During my undergraduate career, I had the opportunity to spend the spring semester of my sophomore year abroad in Barcelona and I fell in love with everything about it! The Catalan culture—the food, holidays, art, language, and so much more—was almost unreal to experience and I would love the opportunity to return to my favorite city to pursue my postgraduate education. I have strived to do my best in order to obtain this opportunity, graduating Cum Laude and with Departmental Distinction with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, as well as consistently making both the Dean's (3.50 GPA) and the Chancellor's (3.75 GPA) Lists. My passion for Spain and its culture manifested in my minoring in Spanish during my time at the University of Mississippi as well.
The expenses I'll have over the upcoming year include:
A plane ticket, there and back
A student visa
The rent at my dorm
The tuition at school
As part of your participation, I am asking for any kind of contribution you can provide. For that, I’m offering rewards to those of you who are able to donate!
These rewards include:
A shoutout on my blog to every donor, big and small
$10.00 - A handwritten thank you card, mailed to you posthaste
$25.00 - A copy of my zine —a collection of the drawings I did during Inktober last October (which you can check out on Paperquirks' Instagram page here)
$50.00 - A piece of lettering artwork, which could be your name, business, favorite word, whatever! -or- A customized piece of artwork in charcoal, ink, or colored pencil
And for those of you who aren't in a position to donate, do not fret! Sharing my fundraiser is just as important as donating and you will still be able to accompany me by checking out my blog, where I'll post updates, photos, and stories during my time abroad.
Again, I'd like to thank you all for the support you've shown me over the years. Gracias por todo y hasta pronto Barcelona!
