Burpees For Lua's Therapy

Our Baby Lua Rose Payerchin is baby "B" in our set of twins born premature via emergency C-section at 27 weeks on 6/23/22. Within 48 hours of being born she suffered severe bleeding in her brain that caused permanent damage to the right side of her brain.

She has since been diagnosed with CP (cerebral palsy) and it's affecting the left side of her body. She's currently 15 months old and falling behind on her development. We're wanting to give her the best chance of developing appropriately and living a normal life so we're enrolling her into an intensive therapy program located in Sarasota Florida. We live and work in Ohio.

The twins, Lindsey, and I will be heading down to Florida in February for Lua's therapy. We'll be needing to stay down there for several weeks. The costs of the therapy, travel expenses, or living expenses will not be covered by insurance and will be 100% out of pocket.

We're looking for help to remove some of the financial burden of this very important therapy.

I (Dave) will be committing to do 1 Burpee for every dollar raised for Lua. My Burpees will be documented on video and I will be tagging the donors in a video showing the burpees that are specifically done for you. The more you donate, the more you will watch me suffer :) ... ie: $500 = 500 Burpees just for you. $1000 = 1,000 Burpees, etc. !

I have to be realistic so I will be breaking the larger amounts of burpees up into sets of between 100-200 at a time. I will be doing every single burpee owed to our donors and I will be doing them every single day to chip away at my balance. I estimate it will take me several months to get through them all if we get anywhere close to our goal but they WILL all get done.

I have been training the whole month of December for this and I'm ready to rock!
