Burt's ongoing bills

Hi, my name is Rory and I'm setting up a fundraiser for my next door neighbour and good friend Brian (BERT) Woodley. On Thursday December 8th 2022 it was Bert's 60th birthday. He had the day off from work and as usual on his days off he would go out on his motorcycle to do his shopping from the village of waunlwyd or visit his brother Frank in Ebbw Vale. At around 12pm that day burt was involved in a horrific collision with a car through no fault of his own which has left him with life changing injuries. He was air lifted to hospital and has had his lower right leg amputated and metal plates supporting his broken ribs. Bert is extremely well loved throughout the village of waunlwyd by all of its residents. He has gone out of his way and given so much of his time to help anyone in the area and has a heart of gold. He is from Kent originally and we have all adopted him as one of our own. He is going to need a lot of time to recover from the accident and recuperate. Whilst he is in hospital his household bills and rent are going to continue to accumulate. I want to raise as much as possible for our much loved friend Burt. He didn't deserve what happened to him and he should not have to worry about his bills when he is still going through both physical and mental trauma in hospital.
