Terri Kersey's Medical Fund

Over a year ago, Terri Kersey began the task of raising money for a rare digestive disorder called EE which a friend was recently diagnosed with. Terri accomplished her goal by raising over $20,000 for research and awareness. On July 6th, Terri joined a team of people who also raised money for EE in Africa to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro and volunteer in an orphanage. 

Terri was hospitalized in Tanzania after suffering a stroke unrelated to the climb. This has left her with right side paralysis and has affected her ability to speak. Terri's husband, Greg, immediately flew to Africa to be by her side. Until Greg arrived Kevin and Kristen of K2 Adventures took turns beign with Terri and holding her hand 24 hours a day.  They are an incredible team that we owe more than words could ever say.  

Terri and Greg are facing huge medical and transportation costs. Without insurance approval, the necessary medical flight home will cost $180,000. It is imperative to get Terri home to receive the essential medical treatment she needs. Terri is a strong, determined, and faith-filled person who will continue to work hard to overcome these setbacks. Terri has dedicated her life to helping others. She is a 15 year veteran teacher at a local grade school in Cincinnati.
