Bye-bye, Bumps: Ollie's Top Surgery Fund
Donation protected
Hey everyone, my name is Ollie. I’m a queer nonbinary transmasculine person living in Vermont. While the state I live in is progressive, I have a stable job and a beautiful support system, I need help to afford gender-affirming top surgery. The good news: my surgery is scheduled for early April 2024! The bad news: I won't be able to afford this entirely on my own.
I’m privileged to have health insurance through my employer but aspects of gender-affirming surgeries are still considered “elective” to insurers and therefore I’ll have to dish out a huge chunk of money to cover the out-of-pocket costs. I just simply cannot afford these costs without asking for some help. It’s incredibly scary to ask for this kind of support, especially when trans and queer people in the U.S. and around the world are being used as political pawns.
Any support/donation would mean the world to me. If you can’t donate, that’s ok! Share this campaign on your socials. If you don’t want to share this on socials, then please vote for politicians who are working towards protecting the LGBTQIA+ community through policy. There are a million ways to show your love and support for queer and trans people.
Thank you. Love you!
