Help Cal Go to Grad School & Reunite with his Partner!

Hi, I'm Cal! I'm a mental health professional and artist living in Appalachian Southeast Ohio. I've been trying for the past couple of years to be reunited with my fiance, Robin, who lives in the UK. Poverty and other circumstances have kept us apart so far - Robin had to move to a new city and start at university to escape homelessness, and I was recently fired from my job while awaiting FMLA paperwork from my doctor while struggling with my disability.

Given where we both are in life right now, I've decided now is the best time for me to pursue my Master's degree in Counseling - in the UK. I've received an offer for a program in Psychotherapy and Counseling, using contemporary creative approaches such as art, movement, and theater. This is the specialty I've wanted to get into since I started my undergraduate degrees.

I'm incredibly excited, both about this program and at the promise of finally seeing my partner again. In order to secure my place at the university, I'm required to pay a $5,100 deposit toward my tuition. I also need to pay for travel, visa, and the NHS surcharge out of pocket. Here's a breakdown of those costs, roughly:

Flight ~$500

Visa ~$620

NHS surcharge ~$2,000
