5 years ago I was asked to help in saving a dog who was living in a box in Cincinnati Ohio. I said yes to foster dog named Weimin who changed me.
I am just a search and rescue k 9 handler and trainer for trailing, tracking and cadaver, I have a few, or five dogs. Dakota, Scout, Gerettse, Da Vinci, and Bonomo and Finnerty who have passed all allowed every kind of dog walk in and live with us.
Camp Finnerty is a place for Dogs to heal after bad situations. Tough case foster is the term. Dogs who need extended care for wounds, surgery or behavior. Nearly all campers come from abuse and neglect. They come here to recover their dog skills. Specialized K 9 foster for tough cases. 79 campers so far. Funds determine which cases can be taken, spending in the last two years is over 25 thousand dollars.
