Canoeing across Scotland for Parkinson's UK

Do you want to join us in making a difference? James and Graham are raising money in aid of Parkinson's Disease Society of the United Kingdom and every donation will help, with all funds going to the Society.

Parkinson's is a progressive neurological condition. This means that it causes problems in the brain and gets worse over time. It effects approximately 153,000 in the UK and is the world's fastest growing neurological disease.

In 2021 and 2024 close members of our family's were diagnosed, and this has highlighted the effects on people living with the disease and loved ones around them.

To help raise funds for research that could find a cure and help with support for people living with Parkinson's, we will be Canoeing across Scotland following the Great Glen Canoe Trail. We are aiming to complete the trail in 3 days across Easter Weekend 2025, carrying all our gear, food and supplies aboard, self-supported, and wild camping along the way.

The Great Glen Canoe Trail starts in Fort William on the West coast of Scotland and follows the Caledonian Canal to Inverness on the East coast - A distance over 60 miles.

Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause to help people living with Parkinson's.
