Carolyn's Boot

Hi everyone! So my beautiful, funny, extraordinary BEST FRIEND in the whole wide world, Carolyn Canon Law, has a touch of MS. Not long ago, she tried on this super cool boot that triggers muscle memory (or something) and with it on, she said, "I remember how it feels to walk like I used to." Well, I just can't get this out of my head. Carolyn has been my best friend forever and ever and has pulled me up and matched my crazy since before I can remember. I love this girl. She means everything to me. Every fun, crazy adventure I have been on, she rides co-pilot.

Yesterday, when asked what he wants for his birthday, my son Diego said he wants that boot so he can give it to his Aunti Boom Boom. I told him if I had the $6000 to buy it, I would in a second!   But then we got to talking....Diego and my birthdays are coming up, his on April 27th and mine on April 29th. He has enough toys and I have enough... whatever...Instead, we both want something really big this year...more than we've ever asked for... we want to give Carolyn that boot. We are putting in $100 to start. I made Diego do the math and we are going to try to get 100 people to help us, or more, or less..we're not great at math. She would never let me ask for her, so I'm not. Diego and I are asking for us! It's Carolyn's birthday on May 23rd and we just really want her to have that boot. I know she would do this for me in a second, or for any of you.  And I would do anything in this world for her to be able to walk comfortably!
