To the Kaufman Community, Family, and Friends, please consider a contribution to Casey Becker and his family to help lift the financial burden of medical/living costs so they can focus on Casey’s health.
If you don’t already know his story, Casey was diagnosed in January of 2008 at the age of 29 with a benign grade 3 Astrocytoma brain tumor. The tumor has recently progressed and is now a grade 4 Glioblastoma brain tumor. Over the last fourteen years Casey has undergone four craniotomy brain surgeries, radiation treatment, oral chemo, hyperbaric/oxygen treatments, proton radiation and is currently receiving intravenous chemo therapy every six weeks along with Avastin infusions every two weeks. The hope and prayer is that these treatments will keep the tumor from growing and remain stable and alleviate some of his symptoms.
Casey and Ashleigh have been married for 21 years and have three wonderful children together. Kyleigh is 18 and a freshman in college in Arkansas, Kamdyn is 15 and a Freshman in High School and Cooper is 13 and in eighth grade at Norman Junior High. Casey is a fighter and loves making people laugh as laughter really is the best medicine.
The Becker family along with their extended family, friends and wonderful support system throughout the community will continue to stay strong and fight together; leaning into their relationship with God and trusting that all things are possible through Him.
To those of you who have been blessed by Casey’s friendship, brotherhood, walked along side him as a colleague, teacher, archery coach, let’s show him and his family how much we care!
