Support Catlin through her breast cancer fight.

On May 27th, 2022 Catlin was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma (breast cancer). She underwent a double mastectomy on August 2nd, and is now recovering from surgery and awaiting further treatment.

Pathology reports this week gave us some good news to hang on to as it does not appear that her lymph nodes are involved. Imaging of other areas of her body look good, too. Nonetheless, she has an extensive journey ahead of her that involves medication to block the hormones feeding the cancer, and likely either radiation or chemotherapy (or both). She will also eventually have more surgery to complete breast reconstruction.

The procedure she has already had means restrictions on physical activities for some time, making it impossible for Catlin to do the kind of work she was doing before her diagnosis. The pandemic has been hard on her finances in general, and things are especially tight now.
