Celebrating Joe Goss: A Journey Remembered

Joe R. Goss was born in Conway, Arkansas.
His parents were Oliver Theadore "Teddy " Goss and Ellen Monteen Walls Goss.
He was the first son of the Goss family.
The other sons were Dickey Carroll Goss, Bobby Keller Goss, Richard Wayne Goss and Oliver Theadore Goss, Junior.
His family lived in the Sunny Gap Community and Beryl, Arkansas.
Joe went to Vilonia Public Schools.
He graduated from Vilonia High School in 1977.
He moved to Lynchburg, Virginia and attended Liberty University.
In 1978 Joe was invited to move to Central Brazil and he attended a cultural school where he learned to speak Brazilian Portuguese and some of the Brazilian Culture.
He returned to Conway, Arkansas in the Fall of 1979.
Joe Goss never married and had no children.
In April of 1980 to September of 1980 he returned to Conway where he went to work for Hackler Cartage Co., which became Arkansas Freightways.
The business was purchased by another trucking company and Joe purchased Good News Book Store.
In March 2, 1986 the Book Store closed and Joe took the money he made from selling the store and purchased Penny Pincher Printing Company.
Joe Goss had a heart attack and Pincher Pincher Printing Company closed on April 8, 2018
After several years Joe Randall Goss passed away peacefully at home on 6-21-24
He was cremated and his ashes were given to one of his brothers.
