Revitalize Salem Indoor Soccer with CFC

Salem needs a quality place to play indoor soccer. For some time the only place to play has been Oregon Indoor. Unfortunately both the building and the programs have suffered to the point that many people who live in Salem choose to drive to Portland, Albany, or Corvallis to play - or they simply don't play at all. 

We have an opportunity to create the place we all want to play. Capital FC has agreed to terms with the building owners to lease the building and has plans to revitalize the programs for both adults and kids.

With soccer people back in charge of management, we are confident that we can make some immediate changes to bring back organized, quality leagues with quality referees. We also plan to bring back youth leagues, tournaments, and classes. 

As anyone who is familiar with the building knows, the building has been neglected for quite some time. Capital FC has already been working with donors to make some significant improvements to the building, including: 

- Full cleaning of interior and exterior of building
- Renovation of Men's and Women's bathrooms
- Replace drinking fountain
- Fully redesigned lobby and reception
- Retail space
- Redo player boxes
- Replace sliding doors on both sides to allow for airflow in warm weather
- Heating for spectators

We also have future plans for: 

- Redo seating area to create a great area to view the game. 
- New boards/plexiglass in selected areas to increase viewing
- Re-graveling the parking lot
- Changing the entrance to the facility
- Creating a setup on the back for a food cart/patio
- Restoring outdoor field
