The family of Umenwaliri of Amesi, Anambra state Nigeria, announce the passing of their dear daughter, wife, and mother Chinedu Anulika Umenwaliri. Chinedu arrived in Canada on Jan 16th, 2024. As an international student, she was healthy. She was enrolled in Cadore College and settled in Scarborough. Shortly after settling down, she got a small job and was happy to be in Canada. Towards the end of March 2024, Chinedu developed dry cough, followed by low energy and other dismissable vague symptoms. She sought interventions, but the symptoms persisted. Chinedu relocated to Oshawa in April 2024 in preparation for her family arrival from Nigeria. Luckily, Chinedu's husband, Mr ChiDozie Umenwaliri, and children arrived in Canada on April 6th, 2024, and noticed that Chinedu was somewhat unwell. Hospital visits ensued? Shockingly, Chinedu was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. It was unbelievable. A distraught Dozie, just new to Canada, was confronted with this stark realization. Shaken to his core, Dozie accompanied his wife to fight and beat cancer. This family stayed strong and hopeful, sought treatments, and did whatever was necessary to expedite Chinedu's recovery. They prayed, fasted, and called upon God for mercy and healing upon Chinedu. Sadly, on June 17th, 2024, Chinedu died at Scarborough General Hospital. She was 47. Leaving behind her dear husband of 21 years and 4 wonderful children aged 3 to 17. ADIEU NWAYIOMA REST IN PEACE CHINEDU. Family and friends, brethren, and well wishers. We have set up a gofundme to support this grief-stricken family to bury their loved one. Thanks, and God bless you for your support.
