Medical Expenses For Arachnoiditis Treatment

I have been sick with Lyme Disease since 2009. I also have Hashimoto’s Disease, and a number if other health conditions, so for many years none of my doctors would test me for Lyme. Many of my health conditions have resulted from lack of treatment of Lyme. I finally found a Dr who cared enough to test me in 2016; I was CDC Positive with 8/12 markers present.At the same time, I was also dealing with chronic back pain from Degenerative Disc Disease and Spinal Stenosis. I had a fusion done in 2010 and while the first year was slow recovery, by Spring 2011 I was declining. I sought help from other surgeons and they told me I had Failed Back Surgery and I entered pain management for 4 years. In 2016, it was discovered in an MRI that I had developed Arachnoiditis. In 2017, I saw an expert in Arachnoiditis, Dr Forest Tennant. MRIs from prior years showed Arach going as far back as 2014, which coincided with my pain reaching uncontrollable levels. Dr T diagnosed me with Adhesive Arachnoiditis as well as a CSF leak in my sacral region. Because of the Arachnoiditis, I was told that the leak can’t be plugged. I’ve been in palliative care since Sept 2017 and due to some recent personal changes, I can no longer afford my medical treatment. I lost half my income to my ex when he took advantage of my illness and won custody of my daughter. Despite being sick with Lyme Disease and Arachnoiditis, I am still trying to work from home, but my resume isn’t getting attention. I have found some Drs that have interest in Arachnoiditis, willing to follow Dr T’s protocol, but they are cash only. I hate asking for help because I have always provided for myself and my daughter despite being disabled for 14 years now. But now I’m up against the wall, I’m 3 months behind on my car, lost all of my credit because I couldn’t afford the bills and am 2 months behind on rent. I’m being forced into bankruptcy. Most of the Drs that can help my Lyme Disease and Arachnoiditis don’t accept insurance. Naturopaths for the Lyme; having been sick with Lyme for 10 years now, western medicine doesn’t believe in treating.
My focus for now is the Adhesive Arachnoiditis but need to think about treating Lyme too. I’m looking for work. Im limited on work because I’m not well and haven’t been out of bed much. I am in dire need of medical help. I want to be whole again, get back on the protocol and get my life back! I also need help paying for vitamins, supplements and medications not covered by Medicare. I need Toradol, D3, B12 injections, HCG, Magnesium, just to name a few. I sell Avon, but nobody is ordering that either. I’ve asked people if they would consider an Avon fundraiser; that’s a win win option. Benefits an organization and will help me too.
