Clay's Legacy: Gift Giveaway Fund

In a few days, it'll be the 6th anniversary since we lost Clay. For those that didn't know Clay, Krasean Clayborn, SSG Clayborn, DJ Legend - he was a great soldier, father,husband, son,brother, uncle, a true connector of people.

I spent all of my Army time with him across three different duty stations, and you quickly learn that Clay seemed to make things look effortless.

Get him one on one though, he'd tell you stories of home and his family. His roots were here in Wisconsin and a huge part of that root is his mom, who is a Pillar in the community with a capital P. You can't type enough to mention all the work and labor of love she's put into the city of Milwaukee and especially the youth at the Martin Luther King Jr Community Center.

Every year in Clay's honor she does a gift giveaway for Christmas. This year I want to be able to make a donation to her that allows her to go above and beyond previous years.

Personally I feel like my military time has given me so much success and direction in my life, I just want to do things to give back. To be appreciative of what I've got and honor those that did things so much better than I. Which is exactly who Clay was.

If this is cheesy, I don't care. I want to use some platform to make the community better and there's no better person to do it in honor of.

I'm putting in 500 of my own money and if all this does is rise another 20 bucks, that'll be enough.

Clay was a bike guy too, even if I gave him shit about it being a vrod lol. His mom puts down more miles than some of us, maybe I'll have to tie this to a ride, I'll ride a mile for every dollar donated (I'm changing my donation to 5 bucks then, jk!)
