Help Needed for Coach Blanco
Don protégé
Manny Blanco is a well known soccer coach and educator in the Hudson Valley. He has coached the boys varsity soccer team at Spackenkill High School for many years and girls travel soccer in Rhinebeck and Poughkeepsie. Manny has taught so many of our kids the value of great sportsmanship and the important life lessons of being a humble winner and a respectable loser. He is a remarkable man whose passion is teaching soccer and inspiring athletes to push themselves to be better. His kindness and compassion are second to none. He has fought many battles beside our kids on the pitch, but now he is fighting his own.
After sometime of silently struggling with health issues, Manny has learned that he has stage 3 pancreatic cancer. He has had surgery and will need chemotherapy soon.
He and his wife Lisa have a long, tough road ahead of them.
I am asking that you consider donating to help cover medical costs, unpaid medical leaves and other mounting bills.
Thank you for helping ease Manny and Lisa’s financial burden.
