College Charity Challenge to Break the Pipeline

My name is Logan Eggleston and I'm a senior volleyball player at the University of Texas Austin. GoFundMe is hosting a College Charity Challenge to show the power of giving on college campuses nationwide. I was introduced to Break The Pipeline through my work with the LEAD Initiative, an

organization I helped found at UT, which focuses on helping nonprofits in the Austin community by providing financial resources and volunteers for projects and programs benefiting diverse groups. Break The Pipeline is an Austin-based organization that focuses on breaking the cycle of incarceration by providing programming, services, and advocacy for children who are at risk of falling victim to the criminal justice system. In the United States, approximately 2 million children are impacted by the criminal justice system. This organization is important and helps give these children the opportunity to create better futures for themselves regardless of their circumstances.

Logan Eggleston is a senior on the Texas Volleyball team. During her time at Texas, Logan has served as a 4-year captain, president of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee for 2 terms, and helped found the LEAD Initiative. Logan is very passionate about giving back to her community and helping young people reach their potential in their sport, education, and career. She loves being able to make an impact in people’s lives and inspire them to reach their goals. Her dream job is to be the athletic director at the University of Texas one day!
