Community Support for Marty’s Services and More

In loving memory of Marvin David McEachern.

Marty passed away due to complications from cancer, his beautiful wife Erin by his side, on November 7th, 2024.

Hi Everyone, My name is Arlené Mantha. Erin, Marty, Hanna, and Maya are cherished friends of our family and most likely yours too. I am reaching out to our vast community in Bellingham, WA and beyond for help in supporting this family by easing some of the immediate financial stress as they grieve his passing.

This family is a cornerstone of our community--teachers, social workers, givers--and Marty was a UPS driver and Teamster for decades. While they are usually the ones offering their help, it is clear that after a devastating loss it is now their turn to lean on the community for support. Asking for help is not always easy, but the McEacherns are now seeking support in order to help sustain the family and end of life necessities for Marty, including the hospital/hotel expenses during his final days, his celebration of life, and his wishes for his final resting place. Please do whatever is possible for you, and know that the family is grateful for any support they receive.
