Contributions for Eliano's Farewell

Donation protected
Greetings friends and community,

We are reaching out today for contributions for our beloved relative Eliano (Eli or Dusty) Alvarado. Eliano passed away June 13th, 2024, after 117 days in the ICU.

On Feb. 9th, 2024, Eliano’s health and wellbeing suddenly took a turn for the worst when he was admitted to the hospital for stomach pain. After some lengthy tests, his gallbladder was surgically removed, and he was released the same day to recover at home.

In the following days Eli couldn't move or walk due to the pain and swelling of his stomach. On four separate occasions our family returned him to the emergency room, but he was released without treatment. Finally, after a trip to a separate urgent care facility he was taken to Butte Hospital for treatment and was then transported to St. Peter’s to see his surgeon on February 15th, 2024. And after additional testing we learned that he was undergoing liver and kidney failure and needed a transplant. Within this short span of time, we had to come grips with the harsh possibility of losing our beloved father/brother/uncle/son and prepare for the worst while staying hopeful.

Eli waited months on a transplant list in the ICU until he was notified that he was not able to receive a transplant due to the infection weakening his body.

Our beloved Eli greeted his last days in the comfort of his home with his mother, siblings, daughter, grandchildren, dog, and other family members by his side. He continued to laugh and joke as well as speak calmly of the time he wished he had and of his last requests. He wanted to pass in the comfort of his home and to be cremated and spread at his grandmother's cabin in St. Mary’s, Montana. Although, he was able to return home on June 11th, he passed away within the next few days. We are seeking to make his last wishes come true and ask of your generosity and kindness to help us.

Our family is at a loss without Eliano and we are desperately trying to secure $2800 in funds for funerary processes such as paying for a death certificate, wake services, and cremation.

Anybody who was lucky enough to meet Eli would have been greeted with a huge smile that extended from ear to ear and his warm and caring presence. He was always willing to help those who needed it and despite being a grandpa, he always had a zest for life and new experiences with his family. And although his life had more than a fair share of hardship, he welcomed everyone with conversation and on upon leaving would always bestow a sincere “God Bless” to whomever crossed his path.

We know times are hard for everybody, but any sum you can give is greatly appreciated and all proceeds will be used for the funerary processes.

Thank you and God Bless.
