Hi, thank you so much for stopping by; I'm Corinthia. I'm being led on a journey that to some, may seem weird or 'woo-woo', and to others makes perfect sense.

For the past 3 years, I've been working hard on my mental health, self-care and overall well-being. I can say with 100% certainty that the things that have helped me on my recovery journey have been reestablishing my relationship with God and connecting spiritually, meditating and singing. The people closest to me can attest to the positive changes. Throughout this journey, I've been feeling the calling to help people like myself, who have or currently are struggling with their mental health and more specifically to use my gift of music and singing.

I lived and worked as a cancer nurse in Finland for 10 years and I remember my patients to whom I would sing before their chemotherapy treatments always told me they felt a surge of strength to endure the treatments and an overwhelming sense of peace to trust that they would receive their healing.

The Bible says that in the beginning was the word. God said, "Let there be light". Sound. In the beginning, there was sound. David, before he became king, sang and played musical instruments to King Saul to help alleviate his suffering. Ancient cultures in Africa and Asia have used musical instruments like drums, wind instruments and sound bowls to facilitate different meditative states and also ceremonies. Modern science has also confirmed that certain sound frequencies affect the body and may alter physiological functions. Effects may include reduced anxiety and stress levels, lowered blood pressure and/or cholesterol, better pain management and improved sleep.

I don't believe it's a coincidence that I have worked as a nurse for nearly 10 years, have a god-given gift of music and singing, and combining the two with my patients produced amazing results. Nearly every single patient I sang to, especially if it was regularly, has stayed in remission to this day.

Now that I've established the background, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading this far, I'm raising money to purchase the musical instruments needed to start this business and to provide healing for as many people who would like to use my services. First and foremost, sound bowls are an integral aspect of sound healing, meditations and sound baths. I have 1 small bowl, pictured above, but I would like to have a set of at least 3. A good quality sound bowl set will run anywhere from $2.5K-$3K. Not only that, but I would also like to incorporate drums, wind instruments and eventually string instruments.

I truly am grateful for and appreciate every one of you who has chosen to contribute and invest in my services. As a token of my appreciation, I would like to gift each contributor with a 30-minute guided meditation session. If you feel led to contribute $50 or more, I would like to gift you with a 60-minute meditation session that includes internal energy transmutation through Reiki (energy healing).
