Cortney Day's Urgent Spinal Surgery

Hi! My name is Cortney Day I am starting this fundraiser to help support myself during recovery from a spinal fusion surgery that I will be having on February 18, 2022. I have been involved in gymnastics for much of my life, as an athlete and as a coach. A few years ago I began having intense pain in my low back and sought out medical treatment. After months of physical therapy and no improvement, it was discovered by MRI that I would need spinal fusion surgery on my L3-L4 area. Having this surgery to correct the problem and reduce the debilitating pain will help me get back to work so that I can support myself. Because I am on disability and only work part time, I do not currently have the funds to cover my basic needs over the months long recovery period. Any money that is raised will be used for food, rent and other basic needs. I would not ask for help if i didn't desperately need it.
