Creech Dairy Fire Recovery
Donation protected
On the evening of 27 Nov 2021, the Creech dairy of Cornish, Utah suffered a devastating fire, wiping out their hay barn and a full year's crop of hay for their herd. A total of over 300 cattle, including 110 milking cows are dependent on the hay until crops can be harvested again next summer. Initial estimates of losses exceed $350,000. Although insured, proceeds will likely not cover everything.
Immediate donations are needed for funds to continue dairy operations that support multiple families. Information on other ways to help (hay, equipment, labor, cash, etc.) will be available on The Cornish Network Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/groups/thecornishnetwork.
The Creech family has done more than raise crops and produce milk for 50+ years--they have produced some of the finest, most caring friends, neighbors and community contributors we know. Please help us help them in their hour of need!
