Co-Working space for female entrepreneurs
Donation protected
I am Deidra Collins, a native Southern Indiana resident. I grew up in New Albany and Jeffersonville. I have purchased a building in downtown Jeffersonville. My vision is to turn the space into a co-working space that highlights women business owners. I have re-mixed the traditional workspace to accommodate flexibility and creativity. My solution will support any budget and grow the female entrepreneurial spirit in my hometown. Growing up in Indiana, women business owners were a rare gem, especially women of color. This is my opportunity to champion a new vison of female business owners. My project will welcome established professionals, creatives, stylist, and the newest Boss Ladies. I have been working on this project for 1 year securing funding and support while working a full-time job. My husband and I have spent many evenings, weekends, and holidays doing “sweat equity” on this project. Unforeseen design changes with the architect have added additional project costs which have put me over budget.
No donation is too small! Will you consider a donation of $100 and sharing my link with a friend?
My ultimate funding goal is $25,000.00. This is how I would utilize your donation:
• 50% on contractor services
• 25% on materials and decor
• 25% on signage, exterior and landscaping
I will post regular project updates to show our progress. Thank you for your support and well wishes.
